Aftercare Natural, Enhanced & Gel Nails

  • Gently massage cuticle oil into your cuticles, dry, and follow by hand cream.

  • Always use non-acetone nail varnish remover.

  • Always use a base coat to prevent staining, and have regular maintenance to keep your nails in tip top

condition.

  • Treat your nails with care and wear household gloves for washing up and cleaning tasks. Nail enhancements

can discolour if they come into contact with other chemicals.

  • Book for an infill every 2 weeks.

  • Be careful near extreme heat or naked flames as these can cause nail extensions to melt.

  • Be guided by your nail technician keep your nails in good condition by attending regular appointments.

  • Don't have your nails too long for your lifestyle.

  • Don't pick, bite or attempt to remove Gel or Acrylics without seeking professional advice for safe removal.

  • Avoid using products containing lanolin, petroleum and mineral oils as they can lift Gel.

Should you experience any discomfort or allergic reaction while wearing Gel or Acrylics, get them removed immediately and seek medical advice.

 

Aftercare Lash Lift

  • Be gentle with your lashes, No rubbing.

  • Be careful when applying moisturisers and cleansers, always pat the lashes after cleansing.

  • Do not allow water to come into contact with the lashes for 24 hours.

  • Avoid waterproof mascara and using eyelash curlers.

Aftercare Advice Waxing

Keep the waxed area clean and avoid heat and friction during the next 24-48hrs, including:

  • No hot baths or showers (cool to lukewarm water only).

  • No saunas, hot tubs or steam treatments.

  • No tanning (sunbathing, sun beds or fake tan)

  • No sport, gym work or other exercise.

  •  Avoid scratching or touching the treated area with unwashed hand

  • Wear clean loose fitting clothes.

  • Avoid swimming in chlorinated pools.

  • Do not apply anti-perspirant, body sprays, powders, lotions or other products to the area,

other than those recommended by your therapist.

To prevent ingrown hairs:

  • Gently exfoliate the skin 3 times a week (72hrs after wax).

  • Dry body brush daily (72hrs after wax).

  • Use a deep penetrating moisturiser daily.

You may notice a small amount of re-growth after a week or so.  It can take up to 4 treatments for your hair to follow the same growth cycle pattern.  Hair needs to be at least ½cm long before it can be successfully removed by waxing.  Please do not shave between your appointments.  To maintain your smooth appearance, waxing every 4-6 weeks is recommended.
